Can someone please help me out. I have a 2002 Civic EX. It is a manual tranny. When the car is cold it is quite as can be. When I have been driving it for alittle bit it starts to make this whinning noise. I thought maybe the power stirring fluid might be low, but nope. My alternator has been charging fine. I haven't had any problems starting the car up. No check engine light is on. There doesn't feel any power loss to the car. does anybody have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

i have the same problem... i'll be taking off in 1st or 2nd and it makes that noise like when you're going in reverse too fast...
it's either my tranny or a blown strut... i dunno.. could it be anything else??

Thank you very much. I haven't checked my Tranny fluid yet. I just recently had my oil changed. Plus it is a 5 spd, where would my tranny fluid be? The sound is alittle quieter then the reverse sound, but yes it sounds similar to that.
