HYPR DRV will become famous soon enough
I LOVE THE INTERNET!! How can you not? Anyone can say anything in the world that they want to say and not ever have to back it up! It's great. For example, I could say 'Hey Civic-king, I'm gonna drive to Colorado and tear you a new one with my EX manual and put that LX 140-doin' piece of crap to shame. So eat me!" And then, I don't even have to really do it. But hey, it gets people pissed and that's more satisfying, right? And everybody gets to come off looking hard and gettin' respect, right? Whatever. Buy your Jet Chip or switch ECUs or do whatever you want. Who cares? It's your car, man. Just don't be surprised when it doesn't perform any better than it does now.

I wasn't trying to be mean, just facetious. I'd love to go to Colorado. Haven't been there since I was 2 months old on a X-country trip with my family. Anyway, yeah, 140 might be a stretch for our cars, either way. Have fun on the roads. Not like FLAT-hio.

Well getting to 115 in about 1.5 miles isn't bad if it's true. But try driving a turbo car and see how fast you get there. My friend's GSX gets to 120 so fast, I'd prob be going about 80 if we started at the same time. Either way I didn't say mine was faster, and I'm not saying your accusing me of having a slower car, just that on the highway, or high speed course, it's usually the EX's that will pull. I'm in a 7th gen crew up where I live, and I drive with a few locals with 7thgens, they LXs can't keep up with the EXs.

Here's the video I made of the 16.5. The track was extremely slippery. I know my time could have been a lot better. I raced my cousins's 03 Mazdaspeed (turbo!). I was wrong about before, I did have the Si wheels on the front on this one, but like I said before, mozart rear-section, Ebay intake, full 200lb system in trunk and about 100lbs worth of Dynamat.

Who are you referring to? I know what you mean by kids though. I'm about 27 and finally worked enough to get my car the way it is. But it's still not enough, cuz' I'm a teacher and we make dog crap. BTW: Nice vid, Madwheel.

when i say "kids," it's a state of mind. childlike personality. you know, we "play" with are cars, and like to have fun. i am 23, and in no way resemble a child, but i like to joke arround and have fun. hence i am a "kid." it's a slang term we use here i guess. my friend Many is like 34, i still call him a kid. i'll be like "hey kid, what's up..."

sory if i offended you Mr. Teacher-sir. i'didn't mean to call you a kid; also in this area those hillbillys are knowen as "Honda Kids." that means you spend as little as you can, and make your car run crappy with things like 5 degree advanced timming, and crap walmart bodykits...(not really walmart..but you know what i mean)

Dude, are you bipolar or some crap? You tell me not be "mean" and then jump all over my ****, cuz' I misinterpreted what you meant by "kids". Then you mock me and my profession by calling me "sir". WTF is your deal? Let me tell you what I think of when I hear the word "kids" on this site.... dumb-*** richies that buy all these parts for their car and think that it makes them a better person because of it. I guess it makes you smart too, cuz' everybody knows everything on these threads. So quick to form opinions and jump on someone else who might not know something. BTW: I teach 6th graders. Funny, I didn't see you on my class list, but take a seat near the front.

You need to shut up. you come on here asking us a question about ECUs and we gave you the answer. And some of the people talking here know more than you do. I have seen some of your posts and you seem to have a limited idea of what you are doing. You talk abou these "kids" when all you are doing is perpetuating the stereotype bye driving over 100 miles an hour and asking us for parts that will help your car go over 140. If they wanted you to go over 140 they would have set it that way, but you drive a civic. You have a list a mile long for your modifications, but you will come on here everyday to ask people what to buy. I think you need to step off your high horse and listen to some of the people who are giving you advice. And I read your post about acting like your dad, and you know what, maybe you need it. Driving that recklessly is stupid and dangerous, period.
