Civic Exhaust

I'm trying to buy an exhaust for my 2003 civic EX. Does anyone out there have the diameter of the civic exhaust? Is it 2 1/2" or 2 1/4"?

Thanks for the help

Dang!

So if I try to buy a stainless muffler that is 2 1/2" it will not fit??

That Sux. I thought it would be a bit bigger diameter.

Well, thanks, if you have any other suggestions, let me know

any muffler will work, they weld the muffler to the piping. you can weld a 3 inch pipe to a 1 inch pipe.

Cool, I just have to take it to a respectable muffler shop. I do not want any leaks, or unwelded seams.

Thanks for the info!

you should try to keep the new diameter piping to 2.25'' at most if you're going to go NA, or you'll lose back pressure. go bigger if you want to go turbo.

I am going 2.25 through the whole thing. Save your cash and get a full exhaust system, sounds better and more performance benefit. I want the Thermal R&D Sl exhaust.

you could do it with any muffler. Just needed to be bolted on and welded properly
