Hi, I just got some sidemarkers and im going to install them this weekend. I've read 2 DIY's, one in the DIY section and another I found on these forums by Mex. Ok, the side marker has a has a lump is you call it. Which direction does that go? Fat side to the door, or fat side to the front bumper.

On Mex's DIY his fat side is towards the front of the car. And the DIY section, I cant really tell, but it looks like the Fat side is closer to the door.

This maybe a matter of opinion i guess or I could be looking at the DIY's wrong. Thanx in advanced.

On euro/jdm civic's, the sidemarkers "Fat' side is towards the back- so if you thought about it aerodynamically, the wind would be sliced into not bumped into.

like... how to show that...

Wind --going this way--> <=) sidemarker

---> <=) (wind is sliced)

---> (=> (wind is bumped)

I hope that makes sense...

coo thanx. i had that common sense as well. just saw on mex's DIY. It shows his ride side, which is passenger, and the fat side is towards the front. thanx for the confirmation.
