hello.
i bought a new clutch, throw-out bearing, and flywheel.
i started to contact local shops to get this stuff installed.....
one shop i contacted asked if i had bought a slave cylender for the hydrolics.
what is the slave cylender, and what does it do?
should i replace this?
i have a popping in my clutch, but i've been told that it was my throw-out bearing and/or the plate "fingers" (what the bearing rides on)
how would i know if this part(slave cylender) is bad?
thanks

i talked with a tech. he said that it doesn't need to be replaced unless it's leaking.
also said it was an external slave cylender, and could be replaced whenever i want.
so i guess i answered my own question.....didn't mean to waste your time, but if you want, leave info and i will check in with this thread offten.
