Just got rear-ended. Help!
Someone hit my rear bumper today at school and forgot to leave a note. I'm so pissed now and there's a 1 inch black cut in the bumper where the plastic is showing. Is there anything that can be done to make it look better without repainting the whole bumper? It looks really bad on silver, and the plastic is rough where the paint got scraped off. Please help.
My car is in near perfect shape and I just detailed it. Some people make me so mad!!

I cant really help, but I can relate... I got ran off the road in my brand spankin new 2003 and got all scratched and dented up and bent my stock rim before Ive even made my first payment. what makes it worse is that my insurance deductible is $500 out of pocket until they collect on the bastard that was driving the wrong way on a one way street. ahh... it never stops.

$300-$400 repaints the bumper. Just do it, its worth it. Yes people **** me off too, but if you want it to look right, you can't DIY fix a cut in the bumper. Get it professionally repaired.

Well I just don't have the money for that now. And if I did, it's way too much. I can't believe someone would just hit it and drive away like nothing happened.
Sorry the dude who hit it didnt leave a note...I'd be pissed off too. If you find who did it, kick their ***. If all else fails, use ductape to cover up the scratch (it might blend in since your car is silver, and if not, people will just think you got some tape stuck on it.)

Damn!! That sux!! I had that happen to me on my old 88 camry. It was perfect, till someone hit me while the car is parked and i didnt know who did it. It was a huge *** dent!! smashed the right tail light!! Ughhh!! DAMN ppl dunno how to drive!!!!
make a banner on your computer and prit it out. "Look what you ignorant fools did to my beautiful car. Park close and face unwanted consequences."
although... that might attract some bad attention also.

my car was parked at work and when i went out to hop in it after i had just got off, what do ya know my rear bumper, left back quarter panel, trunk deck, and tail light was thrashed, and no sign of anybody. $1700 in damage. Oh yeah if you have a $500 dollar deductible, then with a hit and run and an unidentified driver you only have to pay $200. Will be less if you have a lower deductible.

I got a ding too, when my car was brand new. People are just jealous, and it makes them feel better to ruin someone else's stuff.
I used to have a 2000 mazda protege and someone ran into it at school breaking my wide marker light and severly denting my fender. Then one the first day of school this year someone ran into my new civic and cracked and scratched paint off of my brand new octane r34 front bumper. I hate college students, they don't have any respect for other people or their cars.
