I didn't install mine. It was done by the dealer 2 days after I bought the car (coz I don't feel like using my key). But the OEM keyless entry includes an installation manual and it looks easy. You just plug in the wires in the existing sockets and program the frequency on the remote and the car step by step shown on the manual.

Mine came with one but I went and got an alarm in a week. So now my controller does nothing except when I want my car to honk.

You may want to check out the kits number : 08E61-S5D-100 and 08E65-S5D-100. Those are the numbers shown on my OEM keyless entry system operating instructions. I don't know the price since the dealer gave me as a gift of purchase for my LX. (they don't come in standard, right? It's a gift if they didn't lie to me about that. BTW, it took 30 min for the techician to install)

I really need to get an alarm. All I got is the keyless entry but an alarm is really helpful, especially if the car looks good.

is there anyway to hook up your siren to keyless entry, you know when you open the door and your honk starting to go off, would it be possible to do that with siren???
