It is possible that it stops the metal to metal heat transferr I suppose.
Also i didn't dee tat it covers the d17 engine for the 7thgen civic

i know its not for our cars it says that on website but i was talking about for the engines that it works on has anyone had any experience with this ?

if it IS available for our cars any day soon.. i will buy FOR SURE.. NICE piece... ive seen the k20 ones up close, and they make about 4-5whp consistently...

4-5 whp ? i find that hard to believe, any dyno ?? so wats the gains on a b series ? so i guess its worth it then

it's a COMPOSITE! it's not 100% plastic!
i don't know what the other stuff is, but it don't get hot.
this plentum is sweet, better than any metal.
