anyways back to the topic.... let me first bring the dead horse out so we can all beat miserably.
as for me, 87 octance 'cause i hear anything higher is actually harder for an econo box to ignite.
well I used to use 87 then swapped to 93 to see if there was a difference, I noticed better gas mileage. I gained an extra 20 or so miles to my tank. I went back to 87 and it ran like crap for a few tanks then back to normal. Now that the gas prices are starting to go down again I'm gonna run 93. I burns cleaner and I figure if I'm gonna have my car for a long time, why not give it the best.
i dunno guys.. i've acutally compared an 87 to an 89.. my mileage improved about 30-50 miles... i've tried it with the same driving habits.. try it... of course i don't have the scientific explanation but i since than i've always used the 89..
