Aight, Im looking at finally ordering a k20a from japan and I was wondering if they use fully synthetic oil over there or would I need to go ahead and flush the engine before I change the oil. Or would the shop installing the engine do it? Any info would be helpful

Rep Power: 400 I'd change the oil before I ran it no matter what... you don't need to flush it to use synthetic, just drain and change it, run it for a few thousand miles and change it again... that should get the junk out. It can't be all that old, so there shouldn't be much buildup in it anyways. I don't know if the engine requires synthetic, but I should think any self respecting driver would use it.

Rep Power: 0 i just fully synthetic in my engine now and I havent had any problems with it, so defintely when i get the k20 either before or after I get back from basic, hopefully before that Ill be using synthetic. Take care of my engine and it will take care of me!
