TYC Projectors Question (HID)

So I had my set of HID's installed today into my new TYC Projectors, i have the D2R bulbs, and the guy told me i should get the d2s bulbs, because they are meant for projectors!
But right now, the lighting totally sucks, so im gonna try to adjust them...does anyone know how? and the other thing is do i really need to get the d2s bulbs? or can i stick with the d2r?

I had angel eyes projectors on my 02. I took em out yesterday cause i found em to be way less brighter than stock headlights. I cleared the corners on the stock lights n they look pretty hot. Also i dont think u can put HID in projectors, at least the projectors i had... sticker on back of the headlight said "no HID allowed" BTW im tryin to get rid of my projectors now. They're chrome housing angel eye projectors. E-mail me @ stix3120@aol.com if interested.

Are Angel eyes shitty? I'm wanted a set for a long time (ya know reminescent of the BMW), but if they're all shitty, I definantly won't go that route ( or think of something else).

yes imo they are...
the only good projector lights are tyc's...ive done my research, the projector itself in all other aftermarket projectors SUCK! they produce less light then ur stock lights!

Could you put HID's in an Angel Eye Headlamp assembly?

well... half true... They are only meant for projectors if the actual projector was made for HID....

But you need to do a WHOLE HID conversion using REAL HID projectors...

When ppl talk about HID its the whole conversion..not just replacing regular bulbs with "xenon bulbs"...HID conversion kits range from $500-$800.
