lower grill removal DIY

This is an easy process.
First remove your bumper,
Then get a new box cutter,
Cut slowly along the seam of the black grill and the painted bumper,
Your done. Now you could do what I did and put some mesh behind it.
If you look behind the bumper you will see mount holes on either side of the opening.
I mounted the grill to those. For the middle to I used small screws and put them in the mounts for the license plate. For the top corners I taped them down with fabric tape and covered that with two part epoxy. Same with the bottom center. It should look like this. I like it better that the Grill Craft because it sets back not right in the front.

Ahh yes niiice job. Very clean install. The inset look is hot. Need more pics!

cool i did that a while ago too. Actually ended up doing it twice cause i needed a new bumper after an accident. The grill i used is more open than that one. I ended up installing my fog lights behind it.

kinda out of topic but..
hey hankscorpio..
did u have an accident and changed ur bumper?
do u have any problems or something after u changed ur bumper?
cuz i got an accident a week ago..and my bumper will be changed..
im so worried..
