Good Place to Ground Wire??
Hey Guyz,
Where did everyone ground the wire for their reverse indiglo gauges? I had used electrical tape to tape it to the big metal thing but I guess it came ungrounded last night cause only my needles lit up.
Thanks,
Eli

i wrapped it around the screw on the left side that the cluster uses to screw in. i wrapped it around it and screwed it in tight over it. works perfect. the screw touches a metal bar which is grounded, so it is perfect and no drilling is required.

never heard of that. i dont see what it can blow. its only a grounding spot. its not like you are connecting any postive wires to it.

If anyone else knows anything about grounding to a screw being bad, lemme know.

ground all you want to a screw, jsut dont tape it on, thats ghetto... if you wanna do it correctly, it costs about 50 cents... you need a ring terminal, and a self tapping screw... if you cant figure out what to do with them im taking away your priveledges to play with wires

^what he said
crimp a ring terminal on it. and screw it on to something metal. you can also wrap it around a screw all you want...it wont kill you or your car. it wont damage anything, whoever told you that is wrong.
