Relocating the battery

Has anyone relocated there battery so that they could run
there intake just behind the headlight?
I noticed a lot of people doing this at the track, they would
just remove there headlight when they ran.

So has anyone done this?
Comments?

i put mine in my trunk a while ago its alot like running a thick gauge wire for a amplifier but you need two grounds one in the back and one on the block always make sure you do both or you could loose power
