Anyone relocate their ignition key location?
When I drive my dang keys hit my leg and it bugs the heck out of me in the summer when I wear shorts. Has anyone relocated their ignition? If so how did you do it? Was it hard? And do you have pics?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not trying to be a smarta$$, but you really shouldn't have that many keys on your keychain...on my old (admittedly crappified domestic) car, I had so many keys for work/house/3cars/various case locks that their combined weight actually bent the ignition dealie....I had to push it in and turn, putting pressure towards the top, which was not something I needed to do when that car was brand new...

Oh, I know about that. My ex's Shadow had that problem cause she had too many keys on. My problem is that I drive with the wheel tilted all the way down and the few keys I have hit. Even if I had one key it would hit. I think I sit weird. hahaha Thanks for the tips.

I have opened the steering column before and it wouldn't seem that hard to move the assembly, but your main concern would be extending all that wire...I think some people on here have moved the ignition to the spot where your trunk lock and remote gas door release are (floor next to driver's seat).
