How do you get to the crank shaft pulley?

It's way down there. How do you get to it to replace it? Do you have to go from under, or do you have to take the engine out?

Take engine out, remove tranny, remove oil pan, remove flywheel, remove main bearings and you should be set

get some jackstands...take your driver side tire off...remove a piece of the inner fender well covering your crank pulley....and there it is..plenty of room...

I was gonna say, damn, that's a lot of work (to the first reply).

Is it worth doing myself or should I take it to a shop?
