he had about 30k miles and at the time he was stock.
i believe his reaction times were somewhat similar.
my car only had 10k miles on it but i dont see y that would make a 1sec. dif.?
he also does believe my car feels slower.

ah I checked and its only a lb. lighter (the 01)
so I guess thats not it. heh.
if this occur only in one run on the track.. I wouldn't really worry about it.. but if its a frequent thing.. I duno.
condition still has to be the same so that other variables aren't what's changing it.
perhaps it was a lot colder the time he ran his 01. *shrug*

This has everything you need to know about the 03 civic.

You can download it here.
Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0
I use version 5.0, so I don't know how 6.0 is. It doesn't [shouldn't] matter though.

after looking at the file it doesnt really explain much to me. basically it showed me everything i saw when i bought my car on that little paper on the window. I guess this is gonna be like an unsolved mystery or maybe ill give it a lil more time to get more miles on it.
one possible explanation that I can think of is that our ecu can learn our driving habits
your friend probably drives more aggressively and hence the ecu calibration
you can try to reset ecu's for both cars and try the run again
my 2 cents
