Usually your the person the insurence company will write the check to. You can fix it, forget about it, or use the money for a CF hood.

that thing on t.v. doesn't work worth s***. my friend tried to get a dent out of the crease line in his integra, and all it did was get glue on his car. and going thru your insurance is probably worthless too. it prob. won't cost more than two hundred, and unless you have a really low deductable, it's just going to hike up your insurance. i suggest shopping around for prices to get it pro. removed.

FYI: I checked HondaAutomotiveParts.com, and a new hood lists for $331.76 without paint. Their price was $248.82 w/o paint and not counting S&H.

I guess it all depends on how high your deductible is, to determine if it's worth turning in to your insurance or not.
