Ok, I am working on a project for my car, and I was wondering...Can the Temp and Fuel needles just pop off? And if they do what is underneath them? Is it like a rod of some sort that the needle is attached too? Or would the face be pretty much flush with itself after the needles are removed.
If you dont have to remove the needles, then dont! There are plenty of horror stories on this board, and all over the internet of people removing needles and the gauges never working again like they use to. Some people get lucky, and have removed them, and everything works out, but i would try and find a way around it.

I am actually working on the design as I sit here in front of the computer. Still need some tech specs tho.....Prolly going to call the dealer and see if one of the techs can point me in the right direction.
