head and tailight problem..
ok..i just recently cleared my headlights....but while i was takin apart my headlight i pulled a little too hard and broke my blinker bulb a little bit..it wasnt the bulb itself, but the part that plugs into the wire part...ok..didnt think much of it...so went and bought 2 new blinker bulbs...ok..i replaced it and put my headlights back in and plugged up all the lights..ok...the blinker bulb comes on...but..it doesnt blink...but the thing that i thought was really strange was that when i turn my blinker on on this certain side the blinker blinks like 5X faster than the other side..one side of my tailights blinks normal and the other side blinks really fast...i dont understand....but i thought..well..maybe ill replace the front blinker bulb again so when i took out the blinker bulb the same peice broke off the bulb as did before...can someone help me?..

When I replaced my stock turn bulb, the driver side didnt' blink but from inside the car it's blinking 40 times faster, so is the driver side tail light turn bulb, I popped the hood and played around with the socket and then the crazy blink just went back to normal. I would just look at the socket and make sure nothing is really out of place, and maybe flip the bulb itself around, that's what I did, too. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me. Just play around with the socket and the bulb, I didn't have hyper blinker crap.
I think it's because the metal parts are not touching properly. Maybe you've bent the metal strips on the bulb.

try switching passenger and driver's side bulbs, I would say almost for sure it's the bulb's problem, unless you severely damaged the socket. Just play around with the bulb, that's what I would do.

hm...can you even buy light bulb sockets? also your "hyper blink" problem is due to the problem u have with your front blinkers. They are just wired that way, when any one burned out or something, some other one will go into "hyper mode".
In another words, when you fix your front blinkers, your tail blinkers will go back to normal.

my guess is your problem is with the metal ends on the bulb lining up correctly in your socket. Just like everyone else said, just try to mess around with geting that bulb in the socket just right. And like wonderz said, the hyper blinker mode is due to a change in the resistance of the circuit from the front blinker not working, it'll be fine once its fixed

Yes, I think the reason that the tail light is blinking that fast is all the "blinking power" has to go somewhere, and they all went to the back. Weird how it happens that way.
