wassup everybody,
I need some help or info k20 swap. I need to reprogram the ecu for my car in order for the key to be accepetd by the rsx ecu, i was wondering if anyone how this is done. I mean if i took my stock civci key and all othe ecu parts to hondata can the program the ecu to accept my key or do i have to take it to the dealer and have program my ecu to accept the civic key.
Also the wiring harness, haspaort claimed 2 have it and some other parts but they don't have anything but the mounting kit, it really bugged me because they told me they had it and when it came time 2 ordering they said no they don't have it.ahhhhhhhhhhh.
Well any help will be greatly apprecaited.

actually i',m planning to swap a k engine too, but it's just TOO much trouble to do so. I've seen a review on Honda Tuning that showed Hasport swap a K engine into civic. They had the engine swapped with the rsx engine sub-frame and stuff, but at the end they couldn't start up the car just like the problem you drscribed.
So yeah, if anybody can help us out regarding this issue, that'll be great~

when you go to hondata, they want you to send them ur key with the ecu so they can programthem both, so they can do it, honda can do it, but you have to take the car to them and you have to show them you purchased the engine legally.
