Ebay cold air intake, can I follow the DIY for it?

Hey guys, I just bought a cold air intake for my car on Ebay.. it was just a cheap $50 system but it looked alright, I got it from here and just dont know if it is similar enough to follow the DIY step by step, what do you guys think? Thanks

i was thinking about buying that one on ebay, but didn't see an actual picture so didn't bother. I bought this one here on ebay and w/ my AEM short ram intake that i bought long time ago, i frankenstiened it and the end product is the picture below. The filter tucks under the battery. I think that's how injen makes it. But anyways, there was a difference from the old SRS AEM and this new one that i did myself. Brought my car down to low 16s on a 1/4 mile. I'm also using a Apexi Power Intake.

i actually just clean it w/ a damp cloth. i clean the engine bay seldomly, only when i'm really really really bored and nothing else to do..other than than, i just play couter-strik online. Fire in the hole!
