Ebay cold air intake, can I follow the DIY for it? Hey guys, I just bought a cold air intake for my car on Ebay.. it was just a cheap $50 system but it looked alright, I got it from here and just dont know if it is similar enough to follow the DIY step by step, what do you guys think? Thanks |
It looks similar next to the hole that is on the corner closest to where it hooks up to the engine. I have no idea what that is for? |
You should be able to...it's kinda straight forward. |
Oh christ I am an idiot the sensor hole. My Aem doesnt have a hole that big ! Thats why I was thrown off, but it should be similar everything looks the same. |
CAI 1 Attachment(s) i was thinking about buying that one on ebay, but didn't see an actual picture so didn't bother. I bought this one here on ebay and w/ my AEM short ram intake that i bought long time ago, i frankenstiened it and the end product is the picture below. The filter tucks under the battery. I think that's how injen makes it. But anyways, there was a difference from the old SRS AEM and this new one that i did myself. Brought my car down to low 16s on a 1/4 mile. I'm also using a Apexi Power Intake. |
different view 1 Attachment(s) here's a view behind the left side of the bumper.. |
Enigne looks good, what do you clean it with? |
Originally posted by FallenAngel Enigne looks good, what do you clean it with? i actually just clean it w/ a damp cloth. i clean the engine bay seldomly, only when i'm really really really bored and nothing else to do..other than than, i just play couter-strik online. Fire in the hole! |
