Opening Taillights?

Opening Taillights? Hey everyone, ever since I got my subwoofer, my taillights have been rattling like crazy. I took one out the other day and I was messing around with it and I discovered that a red reflective plat that is located in the tailight, at the bottom where it curves off to the side, is what is making the rattling noise. I was wondering if it is possible to open the taillights up? Is it the same as the headlights?
