how do you remove 3m double sided tape?

i have some body pieces with old 3m tape on it, is there a better way then applying goo gone on it?

Get a hair dryer and warm up the old tape. then either use your finger nail, or rub off the existing glue with your finger. I took off my rear emblems the other day, that is the way i did it. It takes a while so be patient.

heat gun or a blow dryer if you dont have one. dont take use your nails to take off the excess, use goo gone. using your nails might damage the surface
