Hello all! This is my first time posting so be nice pls. I just had a mechanic replace the engine mounts on my 03’ civic hybrid and the vibrations stopped… for a day. When I inspected the old mounts the transmission mount was beat to **** and the others looked fine so I was confident that when I turned the key the vibrations would be minimal, which they were at first. Slowly but surely, the violent jerking when braking and vibrations in the steering wheel when accelerating off the line came back. When putting the car into drive the RPMs fluctuate and when I try a little bit of gas the jerking starts and it feels like it’s trying to find the right gear. It also will sometimes jerk violently when just coasting to a stop and applying the brakes lightly. This is my second time replacing the 3 engine mounts and first time replacing the transmission mount. The vibrations and jerking is driving me crazy to the point where I am considering going to Honda for and overpriced inspection… help.
