2004 honda civic hybrid
Ok, i have a 2004 Honda civic hybrid the canadian version and i have an issue. My car starts up just fine but when i go to put my car in reverse it jerks and then cuts off. I dont go any further so i just put it back in park. I need to know what causes that and how i can fix it.

Mechanic is broken, replace mechanic
Take it to the place that knows the car you have and can fix them on purpose
What does "cuts off" mean exactly?
What happens when you try to drive forward instead of reverse?
I'll guess it needs the CVT transmission replaced

it cuts off meaning the engine dies. And i would have to crank it back up.
