New thought on 2k2 SI
New thought on 2k2 SI
Wow, i have to admit that I did not like the SI one bit from its outside appearance, but when I drove it back to back with the EX coupe, my thoughts on the SI totally changed. The difference was incredible (to me anyway), it seemed that I barely had to touch the gas for it to go. Anyway...I put an order for one in at 17,200, so I hope that I didnt get ripped off, and hoping a body kit comes out for it by the summer. Any recommendations on tire/rim combos? I was thinkin Koenig absolutes w/ yokahama tires....suggestions about mods and anything welcome cuz I am brand new to the Honda scene.

You have a few options for bodykits already. APC, BuddyClub, and the OEM type-R kit. As far as rims and tires go, that's entirely up to your personal preference. I must've posted this a million times now but, go to www.ephatch.com and browse the members rides there. That should give you an idea of what various wheels look like on the EP.
The type R or mugen doesn't fit. You need to buy the whole JDM bumper cover along with the lip and do modifications to make it fit properly. You should wait for the SEMA show in Nov, honda should have new stuff release for the SI.

I have an 02 Civic EX 5spd and was driving the 02 Incubus Custom's SI for the last 2 days (my friend won it, she cant drive stick so shes selling it). I now want and Si. The clutch engagement is 5000 times better. Awesome in traffic due to its strong first gear....I hate the stock look though lol, it needs to be modded, hopfully i can afford the Incubus Si from the girl.
