Do any of you that drive an '02 or '03 Civic Si notice that the gas light comes on when you have about 4 or five gallons of gas left in the tank?? I know the tank should hold about 13.2 gallons and when my light comes on, I have filled the tank and it only fills up with 8 or 9 gallons leading me to believe that the tank must have about 4 or 5 gallons left in it. It's just weird because I was used to my 99 Civic DX having the gas light come on when I had about 2 or 3 gallons left. It just worries me that I am going to run out of gas one of these days. When I called Honda about it, the person sounded like she didn't really know, but she said that they are supposed to come on when you have only about 5 gallons left. Have any of you experienced this?

Also about how many miles do you get out of a full tank? I usually get around 250 when I need to gas up. But that is because lately I have had to do a lot of short trips. I was closer to 300 before when I would drive on the freeway everyday. And on a long trip to Vegas, even though I was driving pretty fast, I was able to get about 440 miles on a full tank before I filled it up, and I still had about a gallon of gas left.

yea dooode my gas beeh burning up quick...AND I DONT EVEN GO TOO HIGH ON MY RPMS SOMETIMES [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] I SWITCH LIKE AT 3.5 OR 4 OR SOMETIMES 5 IF I WANNA HEAR MY VTEC HAHA but ummm yea i get around 300 cuz i was at a half take i had around 150 so yea.....but ummm does ur light come on wen ur on 1/4 or below cuz i was a lil below 1/4 and my light never came on???

I just filled mine (2002 Si) up for the first time last night (bought it Saturday) and it took just over 9 gallons. My lite had just come on. I had gotten 307 miles on the tank before the lite came on. This lite thing is new to me since I had an 88 CRX Si since 95...
