I'm trying to find out if anyone traded thier 2k1 for the new SI, and if you did what are you paying now to what you paid when you had the 2k1 and how it all went down. Any help would be appreciated.

I have to take my car back to honda again this week, so I'm gonna testdrive the SI, look for my salesman and see how feasable it would be for me to do this.

I traded my 2001 lx Coupe 5spd 21,000 km -- mint mint shape with 1000.00 cash and came away with a 2002 Civic SiR in red . Insurance remained the same - right to the penny and monthly payment increased 13.00. Did the deal this past August ( 16th) , Honda was offering a special rate on finance and SiR sales to that time had been slow.

I had a car they wanted on trade - sold next day - 1000.00 cash in hand - and lets do a deal attitude. Also it is 5 th Honda in 8 years from this dealership . Always keep a good rapport with the dealer .


SiR is far superior car to the current Civic line . Lx was great , just the Sir is soo much sweeter , and still rare to see on roads.
