tire sizes
hi everyone im new to these threads and would just like to know if your tire sizes affect the speed of your car. right now my car is sitting on 17's with not low pros. the tires r bigger than normal and r the wrong size for the rims. if i where to put 15" winter rims would i get a better response. as in the winter tires r about 5" smaller in diameter

Re: tire sizes
UR using 215 or 205/45R17? and RU looking for 185 or 195/65R15? I get that stockers would be the 185, though.
Rim size does not mean much...
And no, they do not have a 5" difference...
There are a wide range of tire sizes and they will be different in "size"... there is a guy using 205/45R16 even around here...
