Re: Need help about Car Led Lights

Why don't you just use a relay and use the battery as a direct power source, use say, the parking lights or headlights as the relay's switch signal so they're only on when the parking lights or headlights are on..

You can even add another toggle switch so you can turn them on/off as you please, assuming the headlights of parking lights (as applicable) are on

Re: Need help about Car Led Lights

You need to find out how many amps the lights combined pull and put a fuse slightly larger that that on it. Also this will need to be done through a relay, just add a relay in the engine bay somewhere, put the fuse on the battery side of the power pass through for the relay, you can have the ground come into the car and put a toggle switch on it so you can turn them on or off, and have the power for the relays switch circuit connected to the running lights. This way switch supplies ground for the trigger in relay, power for trigger is supplied by the running lights and the passthrough is fused power. I would not run anything bigger than this off the dome light fuse.
