Alright.So Honda confirmed the end of the sedan Civic R (FD2) this year.But why is this?Honda is ending this so they can bring the Euro Civic R (FN2) into Japan for full production.For what though?First of all the FN2 is nice looking in all but it's too futuristic for me with all the curves in its body.I prefer the FD2's appearance better.And performance wise the FN2 is about 25 hp less than the FD2.I don't get why they would do this.They can just make both models but cut the production in half for each model.Anyone know why they did this?

Not to sure why they did this but they are stupid. The fn2 is a sorry excuse of the type r, the ep3 was rated alot better than the fn2. They where tested and the ep3 was proven better all around. I think the jdm ep3 was faster than the fd2 actually. They need to stop playing around and bring the hatch back in the game and I mean a good one. All the generations of the type r have been hatches except the fd2. Though the fd2 is a great type r dont see why they are getting rid of it.

Agreed the EP3 is faster and way more fun to drive.It was simple looking,but it was aggressive.The FN2 is probably,in my opinion,the worst looking Type R.The FN2 is underpowered for a Type R these days.I mean it's not even 200hp.
