studdering??

hi everyone i am new to this website as of today. i just bought a 93 civic hb. when i give it hell and step on it when it hits 4000 to 5000 rpm it studders for about 5 seconds than kicks in and hits the higher rpms??? ive never had this happen to me before. can i please get some advice? thanks guys

wow.....thats weird does it have auto trans? is it like a rev limit surge? make sure you check all your engine grounds it could be somthin stupid like that

thats wat i thought to. but when the engine get kinda warm it works perfect. idonno wat to do, maybe fuel filture, it has bosh plugs in it which i would like to change to ngk iridiums. that all i can think of tho

yeah dont use anything but ngk or denso plugs in a honda.
