How do you use the search on this site?

The search absolutely doesn't work - it's so annoying: when I search "how to install racing seats" it returns "buy appleiphone" and HID headlights.
What's going on?

make sure under advanced search options you select "search titles only" so it only searches for thread titles with your keywords. otherwise it will search EVERY single post that contains those words, and that means millions of posts and it also takes forever to search like that.
