defouler

I am puuting a set of new headers and downpipe on my 00 lx, and the cat is in the stock downpipe. has anyone used and had success with defoulers for emissions testing?

Re: defouler

there are some that work by spacing out the o2 sensor so it sees less exhaust. so long as it keeps the engine light off, you will pass.

Re: defouler

I used the angled one before, Its pretty legit- I'd recommend it over the straight one because you'll not only get a lower reading of emissions gasses, but you have less clearance issues to worry about with the pigtails of the sensor being jammed up next to your underbody.

I bought mine from http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/bargainbasementdad/
His build quality is great, but I only see the straight ones listed now. PM him, he might have them.. if not, I'd get this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVE...ht_5573wt_1165
