there are some that work by spacing out the o2 sensor so it sees less exhaust. so long as it keeps the engine light off, you will pass.

I used the angled one before, Its pretty legit- I'd recommend it over the straight one because you'll not only get a lower reading of emissions gasses, but you have less clearance issues to worry about with the pigtails of the sensor being jammed up next to your underbody.
