tech help

2005 civic, my son's car, the headlights and taillights are flashing as well as the dash lights. It seems like there has been some kind of security event that has caused this. I have disconnected the battery and reset the key fob but the the lights continue to flash. Remote does unlock and lock the doors and car still runs. How do I get the lights to stop flashing?

Thanks

Re: tech help

Best thing i would do in that situation for the security reasons if that is call the dealer as much as that may hurt but i believe theres a code that they can tell you for that

Re: tech help

you may need to have the programming reset and then redone with the keypad. i think dealer is the only one that can do it. just removing the battery will not work.

Re: tech help

how long did you pull the battery for? Leave it off for at least 15 mins.

Re: tech help

If the longer disconnected battery time does not work, try pulling these fuses, #10 = 7.5 ampere and #15 2 ampere located in the under-dash box. (fuses for the security control unit)
