No Stop Lights

I have a 2002 civic lx and i dont have any stop lights. they flash like normal when i set my alarm but not when i hit the brake pedal. its my sisters car so i dont know exactly how long its been going on but the srs light came on last week also, a coincidence? thanks any help appreciated

The tail lights flash when locking/unlocking, not the brake lights.

Does the horn work ??

Have you checked the brake/horn fuse ??

Im a newb to japanese cars but can you give me a general idea where the brake switch is. I can go from there myself once i know what and where i looking for. thanks guys

its right above the brake pedal. part of the pedal pushes on the switch when you press on it.
