Significance of "beep" sound
Hello,
Recently purchased 99 Civic Lx.
I notice after using the keyless remote to open the doors,
when I open the drivers side door there is approx. 3second beep.This does not occur if I use the key to lock and unlock the doors,only when using the remote and only when opening drivers side door.

Is the beep occuring as the parking lights are flashing during the unlocking ??
If so it is just the "headlight on" warning operating, my 05 does the same thing.
