Unhappy cf hood problem help!

hi, i installed the cf hood last week but the problem is i cant close it properly. i know there are two different positions one is properly latched and one is just safety latch. i can only close it to the safety latch level. i've been searching for the answer but none of them really help me out. can you guys help me??? thanks!

i have sparco hood pins on but im just worried cuz anyone can open it from outside...

well when i put my CF hood on, it took adjusting of the hood, and adjusting of the latch to completely get it shut and even no wi still have to press on the hood to get it fully latched, it took me 2hrs of tweakign to get it right, thats how i did it
