2008 civic LX (noises going over bumps)
Hi, I recently purchased a 5 speed 2008 civic LX. About two weeks ago I started to hear a thump noise (kind of like a noise you get when you bend or hit a big strip of metal) coming from the outside of the rear passenger side of my car when I go over a bump or turn kind of fast. I've taken everything out of my trunk and checked my tires and hubcaps. I still hear the noise. If anyone has had this problem can they tell me how to fix it? Or if anyone has any idea what this could be, can you tell me? This is driving me nuts.
thanks in advance,
thanks in advance,

I had the same noise with my 2007 Honda Civic except in the front every time went over a bump it sounded like I needed a lube job, it was like a squeaking sound. Ended up teh dealership had to repace one of the front struts.

ummm yeah, one would think that if the car is that new you would take it to the dealership for them to fix it instead of yourself, i mean you are paying several thousands for a car that has like a 30 sumthing thousand bumper to pumper waranty. just my opinion.
