k i can't remember
but what is the part called or thing you do called that makes it sound different when you shift with a mt?
Its the thing that makes that sound like its releasin air or somethin.
most modded eclipses have it and some hondas do.
I can't think of what it is.
It sounds sorta like it does when they shift in the fast and the furious lol
yea thats the sound i just can't remember
cause i was telling my friend bout it cause we heard an eclipse at school with it done.... what is that called its gonna drive me crazy if i don't know.

Re: k i can't remember
You must be talking about a b.o.v blow off valve or bypass valve. It seems to be the shifting that makes the noise, but its not. A bov releases the pressurized air from the turbo when the throttle is closed and when since you let of the throttle to change gears it seems to be the shifting that makes the noise. I wont go into great detail on how a bov works, so I hope this good enough.
