We get to the movie theater at about 4pm last night. We went to see Good Luck Chuck at 4:30 (Awesome by the way)

When we get out of the movie, we get in the car (My civic) and head to Peoria, a town bout 20 minutes north of us, to go to Best Buy.

When we get out of the car I noticed that MY CAR GOT F**KING HIT!

When we went to the movies I pulled through the parking spaces so I could just pull straight out and not have to back up. Well, the dumb mother f**ker next to me on the passenger side must have started turning too soon when they were backing out, thus, leave a good sized dent and a scratch from right below the side mirror all the way to the front bumper!!!

I have to take it down to the police station to fill out an accident report today (trust me, I called them as soon as I noticed it!) then the officer I fill it out with will contact the movie theater and get the security tapes!!

P.S. They scratched up my f**king wheel cover!!! I'm pissed, lol

That sucks. But here's what I would do to turn that frown upside down.

First off, is the dent on the fender or the door? If it's just the fender, get the estimates and the check from the insurance company. Take your time and source a used fender from a junkyard in your color. You can probably massage most of the dent out from the backside of either the door or the fender, and then buff out any scratches.

Then, throw away the scuffed wheel cover and get your baby some new reeemss with that money from the insurance company! Remember, they're paying you to get the repairs done on the car, not mandating the way you do them.

Haha, that's not a bad idea. There are dents on both the door and the fender though. I could probably get the dents out of the fender but I'm not sure abouut the door. Thats not a bad idea though, I'll definitely check that out!

Post a pic of the damage when you get a chance. Depending on where it is and what kind a dent it is, it may pop right out with a little massaging from inside of the door. I've done a couple buddie's dents like this and there was minimal evidence that anything had happened after I popped it out.

My uncle owns a car dealership so I got him to get me an estimate from the guy that does his body work. . .

$1000 dollars to fix the door and replace and paint the fender!!!
