Re: need to find racing seat brackets!!

The company is Dynamic Auto Design, their website is here:
http://www.dynamicautodesign.com/index1.htm
on the left side, click on racing seats, then click on brackets in the main frame, it'll take you to this page:
http://www.dynamicautodesign.com/brackets.htm
Click on "Buy it!"
Click on Go to payments
Select your state, click continue
Fill in billing information
wait for package to arrive,
install,
enjoy,
get a cold one, think about what part you're going to buy next.

Re: need to find racing seat brackets!!

Brackets aren't seat specific, they're car specific. The sliders are seat specific.

Technically yes that's true, but you still have to know who makes the seat in order to get the right equipment, brackets aren't universal.
Examples:

bride bracket:

Dynamic Auto Design Brackets:

Corbeau Seat brackets:

Sparco makes brackets that connect the seat directly to the chassis:

Like this:

Cande, you can also seperate your brackets from your stock seat and fit it up to the aftermarket seat. Although sometimes that requires fabrication of some sort. like welding or cutting.

Re: need to find racing seat brackets!!

Wrong, some of the pictures you posted are sliders, not brackets. Sliders are seat specific. If it has a handle on it, it's not a bracket.........though I could be completely wrong if one of those companies makes a specific slider/bracket unit specific to every vehicle. Not sure why anyone would ever do that though.

All of the pictures I posted are brackets, known for two reasons:
1) All of those images were found using the search team 'brackets' along with other words, in google.
2) All of those units have holes for mounting points to the chassis.

I honestly think that nowa days, manufacturers assemble the slider to the car specific bracket before shipping em out. Although I don't know this for sure, because I don't work for or a racing seat company.

eh regardless, I found the link for the original poster to get what he needs, so it's all good.

P.S. Dex, whenever I see your Screenname, it makes me think of the song DxY by TaQ it's a cool song. you should download it if you like techno.
