Hm, I don't think I have an answer for your question but I have a question as an answer.....How much more for a new one? And....is it worth that much more to you for the security of knowing that nothing will go wrong?
Here's another way of thinking about it,
Can you send it off to be cryotreated and balanced? If so I think you'd be cool.

No this comes from an s2000... it has blueing so ive come to the conclution its not worth it.. i found a new one for 500... so i think ill pick that up.. Its for my new k22 im building... yeah i said k22
