Buying a NEW Civic Sedan. Any Advice?

I am thinking of getting a new Civic. I need the gas mileage for work. I would like to know your opinion as the the quality, noise, reliability, and other things about this car. Dealers will tell you anything to get you to buy, I know, I used to sell cars. I want owners honest opinions of their cars. Troubles they have with their cars, what I can expect, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Civic - good choice.

Civics rock. I put 150,000 on an '86 civic and it just refused to die. However, they do need timing belts. Check the scheduled maintenance in the owner's manual. You'll also need new CV joints around 100,000 mi. The 1.8L civic engine is great on gas but if you go with the 2.0L twin cam motor you'll have an epic rice rocket.

Get the si sedan. You won't be disappointed. The k20 engine in them has been around for years, and is reliable and relatively powerful. As for overall reliability, quality, etc, its a honda, so i wouldn't worry.

I dunno about you, but I've never heard a bad thing about Civics. It was the best investment I have ever made.
