HELP Won't go into gears when cold
Hey guys...
I have a k20 swap.. just installed ACT clutch and flywheel 5 days back. It was ok for the past few days but now when the car is cold, my car doesn't go into any of the gears. After running the car for a couple of minutes, its able to go into gears a little better. It gets completely fine once i drive for long.
What could be the problem? Can anyone help?
thanks in advane.

when its cold, the tranny fluid becomes really thick and can be hard to move. after it warms up it should be just fine. im not sure what type of tranny fluid are in hondas, but in my truck the tranny uses 140W, when that gets cold it takes a good 15 min for it to warm up enough to move around. hope this helps

'k.. thanks guys... i think you're correct. I did some research and found that for most manual cars, extreme cold can cause the gear box to stiffen up so the only remedy is to let the car warm up properly before driving. I just did the swap last year and it was my first winter with it, thats why its new to me. It can be a pain in the *** when you're in a hurry... lol. Thats one downfall of manual transmission i suppose.
