Ls swap in a 91 hatch

i got a Ls in a 91 hatch and i have a problem i got the car as is and it runs fine till i stomp the gas then it will booog down then gets a rediculous amount of power almost like maaaaaad vtec anyone no wat it could be

You could just be expecting too much from it at a too low off and rpm. So engines will bog when the gas is stomped real fast, my old car did it, then it started pulling.

but i can be at like say 4000rpm and it will still die down like it flooding out
