Well A K Series Isnt Gonna Fit In There Not Without Heavy Heavy Modifications To The Engine Bay, With That Year Your Gonna Wanna Go With A B Series From Like The 99 Si Or From The Integra Gsr, Something Along Those Lines Will Drop In Nicely And They Arent To Pricy Anymore

yes i do like the k series but might be to complicated for me .not only that but is abt 5gs. How hard will be to install the si? can you guys point me to the steps to follow, and can i use my same transmision .. any ideas how much and where can i find it? what model is the one from the si ?the reason also to go for the si is coz ive read in some other post that in order to past the emissions.... you need to get equal or newer engine ..any coments on that ? .... also some other people said to stick to my d series and go turbo ... so far as you can see still up in the air , but i have some options now youre help will be greatly apreciated

well the si motor is a b16a2...but personally if i was gonna do a swap id at least put in a GSR motor....a b18c1...once again more displacement and more hp/tq...i can speak from experience of having all three diff motors....i currently have a 2000 honda civic si w/b16a2, 2000 Acura Integra GSR w/b18c1 and a 2002 honda civic si w/k20a3.....honsetly i just love the k series...but anytime you want more power you might as well start out with more which is most easily done with a bigger motor....none of these swaps would be very complicated...there are how to's in most import magazines..but money wise i say fully build(forged internals) and boost your d series

b18c1...94-01 Integra GSR...i believe are the years.....170hp/128tq..the diff between usa and jdm motors is typically a slight hp/tq diff...jdm motors are usually a little in the least more powerfull due to usually no more than a higher compression...but japan doesnt have as strict emission laws

here is a link for the motor...
B18C SiR-G/GSR OBD2 Complete Motor Swap (LSD) | JDM Honda Parts, JDM Honda Engines / JDM Nissan Motor Swaps, Used JDM Parts - Password JDM
the great thing about jdm motors is you know their low mileage cuz in japan emissions standards requires they replace the ENTIRE motor every 30,000 miles..plus like i said jdm motors usually have a little more hp...like the usdm b18c1 is rated at 170hp but the jdm is rated at 180hp and you'll need a b series tranny you cant use a d series tranny on a b series motor

I dont want him to sell it but he had to go and get all forced induction on us with his sti.
