Fuel light on with full tank?

Fuel light on with full tank? Hello 
I recently bought myself a Honda Civic from 1996, yay!
BUT, i was out driving around and the fuel light came on, i went and filled her up, but to my surprise the fuel light keeps being on even though the gauge is showing a full tank?
I just replaced the light bulbs with LEDs, does that have anything todo with that?
(Please dont hate on my english XD)
